Quran Hall
The Quran Hall is the spiritual heart and architectural core of the Museum of Islamic Civilization History. It is built around the Uthman Mushaf, one of the oldest surviving Quran manuscripts.
First Renaissance
Covering the 8th–13th centuries, this gallery explores the intellectual and spiritual rise of Mawarannahr. During this period, Islamic traditions blended with local cultures to create one of the world’s leading centers of science.
Second Renaissance
The Timurid era (14th–16th centuries) marked a peak of spiritual and cultural life in Central Asia. Samarkand, Herat, and Shakhrisabz became renowned centers of science, art, and architecture.
Third Renaissance
This immersive space is dedicated to human dignity, education, interfaith dialogue, and environmental culture. The exhibition reflects the reformist and progressive ideas of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame is dedicated to the outstanding thinkers and scientists of Central Asia. Fourteen arches reflect key events in the region’s history, while interactive screens bring more than a hundred great figures to life. Through their ideas and discoveries, visitors explore the region’s rich intellectual heritage and its contribution to world science and culture.
Library
The Center’s library is a modern space for knowledge, bringing together rare manuscripts, scholarly literature, and digital resources. It opens centuries of spiritual and cultural heritage to readers and researchers. Reading rooms and collaborative spaces support learning, research, and the exchange of ideas.
Pre-Islamic Period
This hall takes visitors to the world that existed long before Islam, when ancient cities, crafts, and spiritual traditions already flourished in the territory of modern Uzbekistan.
