Explore the Center through a visitor's eyes in seven steps, from the entrance portal and Gallery of Great Figures to the Children's Museum.
Silence welcomes you into the spiritual heart of the Center. Beneath a 65-meter dome rests the Qur’an of Uthman, safeguarded within a glass enclosure and radiating history.
Around it, interpretive panels and multimedia screens explain its origins, role in Islamic history and its journey to Tashkent.
This manuscript — painted on gazelle skin and listed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World register — is displayed in an octagonal hall, 45 meters in diameter, under a dome 65 meters high.
Next to it are fragments of the Qur’an recently returned to Uzbekistan, provided with documents of provenance, as evidence that heritage can be returned through perseverance and diplomacy.
