The German expert could not hide his admiration after visiting the Center

A delegation from Germany led by Zeno Lobe, partner at Strategy & Germany, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The Center’s rich historical and cultural heritage left a deep impression on the guest.

The visit began with a tour of the Center’s “Hall of Honor.” The mosaic compositions consisting of 14 arches impressed visitors with their elegance, harmony of colors, and historical depth.

Zeno Lobe showed particular interest in the exhibits dedicated to Amir Temur, the founder of the Second Renaissance and the Sahibqiran. Chess pieces and avatars created using digital technologies especially drew his attention. He also emphasized that the grand architectural scale and spiritual atmosphere of the Holy Qur’an Hall left him deeply impressed.

During the visit, members of the delegation had the opportunity to try on Sogdian-era attire, which allowed them to experience the historical atmosphere more closely.

Zeno Lobe shared his impressions as follows:

“Some of the exhibits date back several thousand years, and the fact that they are preserved in their original form truly brings history to life, confronting the viewer directly with the past.

This project is unique and one of a kind. To be honest, I have not encountered any similar initiative in Europe. Undoubtedly, the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan deserves special recognition — establishing such a complex, financing it, and bringing it to life requires a clear vision and strategic thinking.

Frankly speaking, the most interesting and impressive part for me was the exhibition located beneath the vast dome.”
