The Tajikfilm delegation at the Islamic Civilization Center: “Only great individuals can create such a rare masterpiece”

Through the mapping show presented at the Khorezm portal of the Center, a 3,000-year glorious history was vividly conveyed through impressive visual solutions. This unique presentation became one of the most striking impressions during the visit of the delegation of the Tajikfilm state institution to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

A delegation led by the director of the Tajikfilm state institution visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. This visit provided the guests with an opportunity to closely explore with the country’s rich history, invaluable cultural heritage, and modern scientific and educational potential.

During the visit, members of the delegation carefully observed hundreds of video materials presented in each section of the Center. The historical and scientific achievements reflected in them aroused great interest among the guests, and they shared their thoughts and impressions. These interactive and visual solutions enhanced the impact of the exhibitions and helped visitors understand each piece of information more deeply and clearly.

As part of the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the Center’s rich and conceptually profound exhibitions, gaining the opportunity to trace the consistent development of human civilization through each section. The combination of the historical value of the exhibits with modern technologies left a special impression on the guests.

The ancient findings and artifacts displayed in the section on pre-Islamic civilizations provided a comprehensive understanding of the region’s millennia-old history.

Among the exhibitions, the section dedicated to the First Renaissance attracted particular attention. Through madrasa models, compositions reflecting the scholarly environment, and interactive elements, the scientific and intellectual rise of this period was vividly demonstrated. At the same time, the scientific instruments and rare manuscripts presented in the Second Renaissance section clearly illustrated the intellectual potential of that era.

The delegation also explored the “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of the New Renaissance” section, where they learned about the country’s current stage of development, ongoing reforms, and future-oriented strategic directions.

In addition, in the Qur’an Hall, the guests became acquainted with the history and scholarly significance of the Uthman Mushaf. They were impressed by the mapping show presenting the process of the revelation of the Qur’an through modern technologies.

“First of all, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Navruz. Visiting this Center for the first time, I felt as if I had seen a ‘living museum.’ Here, not only the history of Uzbekistan but also the very ancient and proud history of the peoples of the entire region is reflected. I express my gratitude to all those who contributed to collecting this unique treasure. They have made it possible to present this heritage not only to their nation but to the whole world. In my opinion, what I have seen here will help not only to learn lessons from the past but also to guide future generations. Only great individuals can create such a rare masterpiece, and I saw exactly such a masterpiece — the Islamic Civilization Center — in the new Uzbekistan, which brought me great joy. I can say that the initiative of your President deserves high praise. In my view, all processes of civilization, history, literature, and culture begin from this very Center, and this source today ensures the stability of the nation. I was deeply interested in the path from the Samanid civilization to modern Uzbekistan. Every person who visits the Center will be impressed by this heritage. This is important for the people, for future generations, and for tourists. Many tourists have not yet seen this place, so it should be widely promoted. Let them come, see this Center and this great civilization, and appreciate it. Here I saw all processes from the emergence of humanity to the present day, and this was very interesting and impressive for me. Once again, I congratulate everyone on Navruz and wish peace, prosperity, and happiness to all,” said Mahmadsaid Shohiyon, Director of the Tajikfilm state institution.
