“Gulf Times”: The Legacy of Amir Temur at the Islamic Civilization Center - The Intellectual Foundation of the Third Renaissance

According to a report by a correspondent of the “Dunyo” News Agency, an analytical article dedicated to the Islamic Civilization Center established in Uzbekistan and the spiritual legacy of Sahibqiran Amir Temur has been published in Qatar’s prestigious newspaper “Gulf Times.”

The article, titled “The Legacy of Amir Temur at the Islamic Civilization Center: The Intellectual Foundation of the Third Renaissance,” analyzes the Center’s role not only in the region but also within the global Islamic civilization.

The main focus of the article is on the personality of Sahibqiran Amir Temur. It emphasizes that the development of science, culture, and architecture during the Timurid era serves today as a key spiritual source for the foundation of the Third Renaissance being established in Uzbekistan.

“The Islamic Civilization Center rising today in Tashkent is a modern manifestation of the great traditions of statehood and scholarship founded by Amir Temur. The Center enriches Sahibqiran’s principle ‘Strength is in justice’ with intellectual potential, demonstrating the foundation of a new era,” writes “Gulf Times.”

According to the publication, the Center is not merely a magnificent building, but a strategic space that connects the “golden age” of Amir Temur — a great commander and statesman — with today’s innovations.

The analysis by “Gulf Times” notes that this complex, built on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has elevated Uzbekistan’s cultural diplomacy to a new level on the global stage. The Center’s grand dome and every ornament represent a modern interpretation of Timurid architecture, reflecting the spirit of ancestors who aspired toward knowledge and enlightenment.
