From the very first moments of their visit, representatives of non-governmental non-profit organizations and specialists working in the religious and educational sphere were impressed by the unique atmosphere of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. This was due to the Center’s magnificent architectural appearance, its 65-meter dome, and its vast territory.

This large scientific and educational complex has been recognized not only in Uzbekistan, but also as an important cultural and spiritual center for the entire region. It was also noted that the Center, which has attracted significant international interest in a short time, was opened on the eve of the Ramadan holiday.

The delegation began their tour from the “Gallery of Great Figures.” The images of great scholars created in micro-mosaic style made the visitors feel as if they were face to face with history.

In the exposition dedicated to the pre-Islamic period, the presentation of ancient civilizations, early statehood, trade routes, and everyday life through modern interactive methods was highly appreciated, along with archaeological findings, written sources, and information related to the Great Silk Road.

It was emphasized that the section on the First Renaissance broadly covers the development of Islamic science, the legacy of scholars, and the processes of cultural flourishing. In particular, the opportunity to “feel history” through interactive presentations left a strong impression on the visitors.

They also noted that the exposition dedicated to the Second Renaissance allows one to experience the historical atmosphere even more vividly.

In the section “New Uzbekistan – The Foundation of a New Renaissance,” it was highlighted that the presentation of current reforms and strategic directions is of great importance for civil society institutions.

In addition, participants of the advanced training institute in the religious and educational sphere — employees of the Committee on Religious Affairs and senior female religious leaders — strengthened their theoretical knowledge by studying the expositions and exchanged views on promoting historical heritage through modern methods.

During the visit, the rare manuscripts and scientific sources preserved in the Center’s library were evaluated as an important academic resource for specialists.

At the end of the visit, the delegation members visited the Qur’an Hall, considered the “heart” of the Center, where the unique Uthman Mushaf and its modern holographic presentation left a deep spiritual impression on them.
