Uzbekistan’s initiative is being recognized as a new platform for dialogue
The Islamic Civilization Center, established on the initiative and based on the vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, continues to receive international recognition. A representative of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People’s Republic of China described the Center as a new and important platform for promoting dialogue among civilizations and cultural exchange between nations.
Zhao Jin, Representative of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People’s Republic of China:
Three years ago, I visited Uzbekistan. At that time, this site was a vast construction area. Three years later, I have witnessed the emergence of a magnificent architectural complex that harmoniously combines the traditional aesthetics of Central Asia with modern technology.
This sight truly amazed me and left a profound impression.
Here, I saw the continuous development of Uzbekistan’s three-thousand-year-old civilization and cultural heritage. At the same time, I witnessed the country’s significant efforts to preserve its cultural legacy and pass on the traditions of civilization to future generations.
In my view, this Center of Culture and Civilization not only demonstrates the continuity of Uzbekistan’s national civilization but also serves to promote the civilization of Central Asia as a whole. Moreover, it represents a new and important platform for fostering dialogue among civilizations and enhancing cultural exchange between different countries.
Upon returning to my homeland, I will certainly tell my friends about this Center. I also believe that there should be even greater dialogue and cooperation between the peoples of China and Uzbekistan. This will further strengthen the humanitarian foundations of mutual trust and friendship between our nations.
