A museum and memorial complex dedicated to the life and rich legacy of the great military commander and statesman Amir Temur is planned to be built in Yakkabog district of Kashkadarya region.
According to the project, a statue of Amir Temur will stand at the center of the complex. It will be surrounded by a modern park, museum, library and madrasa, hotel, handicraft and jewelry shops, a venue serving traditional cuisine, recreational areas, and fountains. A magnificent arch designed in a historical architectural style is also planned for the main entrance to the complex. The museum will place particular emphasis on presenting Amir Temur’s life, state-building activities, military prowess, architectural and development projects, and historical legacy in detail.
The complex is expected to become a new destination bringing together history, education, culture, and tourism. It will provide local residents, young people, and domestic and international tourists with opportunities to explore and gain a deeper understanding of the country’s historical heritage.
The project will also contribute to enhancing the tourism appeal of Yakkabog district, developing new tourist routes, supporting traditional handicrafts, and educating the younger generation in the spirit of respect for historical heritage and patriotism.
