The closing ceremony of the international media forum “Islamic Civilization: New Perspective — New Discoveries” was held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. During the ceremony, forum participants from nearly 50 countries addressed an appeal to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The ceremony reviewed the outcomes of the forum, which brought together nearly 300 representatives of the international media and expert community. The Islamic Civilization Center hosted plenary sessions, international discussions, and presentations dedicated to historical and cultural heritage, modern media formats, documentary filmmaking, publishing and digital projects, as well as the use of artificial intelligence.
At the same time, master classes and creative meetings were organized at higher education institutions in Tashkent with the participation of representatives of CNN, BBC Studios, TRT World, international news agencies, publishing houses, filmmakers, and media experts. New joint projects were presented as part of the forum, while cooperation agreements, memorandums, and other documents were signed.
During the ceremony, the forum’s final documents were adopted, along with an appeal by the participants of the international media forum to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The text of the appeal was read aloud by Uktam Usmonov, Press Secretary of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
