For centuries, Islamic civilization has harmonized the artistic taste, spiritual world, and life views of different peoples, making an incomparable contribution to human progress. One of the most striking highlights of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is the Ulugh Beg Portal, standing proudly on the eastern façade of the building. Its architectural design is created in harmony with the traditions of 15th-century Samarkand madrasas, fused with a contemporary style.
