In the museum exhibition of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the arrival of Islam in Transoxiana, the teachings of Sufism, and the spiritual heritage of Sufi scholars are presented. The central idea of the exhibition is to depict the path of striving for spiritual perfection through the symbol of the khirqa in Sufism and to convey historical traditions and religious-educational ideas to the public in a modern museum format.

In the history of educational reforms in Uzbekistan, Abduqodir Shakuriy holds a special place. He is recognized not only as a pedagogue and enlightener but also as an organizer of new-method schools and the author of the first textbooks.

Enriching the museum exhibition of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, building its library collection, and publishing books in the field of religious and educational studies are among the Center’s main priorities. For this purpose, nearly 30 books have been prepared for publication.

The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is emerging today as a major scientific and educational hub where history and modernity converge, serving as a symbol of the broad spiritual and educational reforms being implemented in our country. In the museum’s section titled “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of a New Renaissance”, infographics, interactive displays, holograms, digital maps, immersive videos, as well as real models and mock-ups will be utilized.
