One of the great figures of world Sufi literature, Fariduddin Attar, has earned deep reverence throughout the Islamic world including the land of Turkestan thanks to his priceless spiritual legacy. Among his works, the Mantiq ut-Tayr holds a special place. This work is considered one of the most important masnavis concerning Sufi wisdom, spiritual self-perfection, and the soul’s journey toward understanding God.

At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, a joint meeting of the Scientific Council and the Working Group including its subcommittees was held to discuss the formation of the museum exhibition, the development of the library collection, and preparations for the official inauguration ceremony at the highest level. Members of the working group and international partners participated in the meeting.

The “Enlightenment Caravan” advocacy group, organized under the theme “Civilization, Culture, and Enlightenment” in cooperation with the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the “Ma’rifat” Propagators Society, and other partner organizations, has arrived in the Jizzakh Region. As part of this initiative, meetings, educational discussions, and practical projects were held in several districts.

Sultan Saodat is an architectural complex located in the northeastern part of Termez, built between the 11th and 17th centuries, and served as the family burial site of the Sayyid dynasty of Termez. The name, translated from Arabic, means “Sultan of Happiness” and is recognized as a sacred site of the Sayyid lineage.
