Results of the expedition in Andijan: 50 artifacts have been selected

Rare exhibits from the collection of the State Museum of History and Culture of Andijan Region have been selected for the exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization.

The third scientific expedition conducted research work at the State Museum of History and Culture of Andijan Region. Founded in 1934, the museum has five branches and houses approximately 160,000 exhibits, 482 of which require restoration.

The expedition is led by the museum director, Ikhtiyar Rasulov. The team carefully examined the museum’s artifacts and selected 50 items suitable for the exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization. These unique pieces span several historical periods, including the "Pre-Islamic Civilizations," "The Second Renaissance Era," "The Era of Uzbek Khanates," and "Uzbekistan in the 20th Century."

The selected exhibits will play a key role in further enriching the content and visual aspects of the exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization. As part of the expeditions conducted across the republic, similar work is being systematically carried out in museums in other regions as well.
