We introduce the secrets behind the idea of the Third Renaissance of New Uzbekistan

21.02.2026, 15:481052

Today, based on the idea of the new “Third Renaissance,” Uzbekistan is entering a new stage in building its modern history, development, and a state that serves its people through concrete reforms aimed at advancing the state and society. What lies behind this vision? What do the analyses reveal? How is it being achieved?

The scientific and cultural heritage of Central Asia, including pre-Islamic civilizations and their ideas centered on knowledge, creativity, humanism, and tolerance, has for centuries been in harmony with the intellectual capacity and diligence of the peoples who lived on this land. In turn, this created a strong spiritual foundation for the First and Second Renaissances. After long historical trials and liberation from an authoritarian regime, the peoples of Central Asia once again embarked on a new phase of development, progress, and national revival.

Today in Uzbekistan, at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the idea of a New Third Renaissance is being promoted within the framework of the New Uzbekistan concept. The slogan “Everything for the individual, for his honor and interests” defines the central direction of the country’s development, emphasizing the protection of human rights and interests.

The “New Uzbekistan — Foundation of a New Renaissance” exhibition at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan’s museum provides an in-depth analysis of the practical outcomes of these historical processes. The exhibition comprehensively highlights the key achievements in the country’s independence and development, demonstrating the results of scientific and visual processes in areas such as state and society building, governance systems, economic modernization, cultural and educational development, and religious tolerance.

The core idea of the New Uzbekistan development model is the principle “Always with the people.” This principle establishes the priority of open dialogue and continuous communication with citizens in public administration. As a concrete result of the new reforms, the declaration of 2017 as the “Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests” marked an important milestone in state policy.

People’s Reception Offices established across the country, digital governance systems, and innovative information platforms have enabled the prompt and effective resolution of citizens’ issues, strengthening openness and transparency nationwide. The digital public services system has been modernized, with millions of applications received in Uzbekistan, the majority of which were resolved positively. By 2025, user satisfaction on the portal reached 81.3 percent. Uzbekistan’s achievements in openness and digital governance have also been recognized internationally, with the country ranking 63rd in the United Nations E-Government Development Index.

The exhibition’s modern innovative platform and interactive holograms provide citizens with access to legal consultations, public services, and answers through a voice assistant. The development strategy of New Uzbekistan is aimed at building a state that serves its people, where reforms and innovations strengthen civic participation and trust between the state and society. The exhibitions and interactive technologies demonstrate the practical outcomes of this policy and testify to the foundation being laid for a New Renaissance.
