The scholars of Uzbekistan sent a letter of gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Members of the Council of Scholars under the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, along with prominent scholars of our country, sent a letter of congratulations and sincere gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The letter particularly emphasized the reforms being carried out by the Head of State under the principle “For Human Dignity!”, especially the initiatives aimed at supporting socially vulnerable segments of the population on the eve of Ramadan. In particular, the decisions adopted at the meeting held on February 16, including the allocation of 750 billion soums to the “Waqf” Charitable Public Foundation and 300 billion soums through the National Agency for Social Protection, were recognized as a remarkable example of humanitarianism.

As noted by the scholars, such large-scale care provides significant support to thousands of needy families, persons with disabilities, and citizens suffering from serious illnesses, and contributes to strengthening an atmosphere of compassion and solidarity in society. It was also specifically highlighted that, as a rare practice in global experience, the adoption of special decisions at the level of the Head of State to ensure the достой observance of Ramadan reflects exceptional attention and respect.

The letter further assessed the systematic organization of Qur’an recitations (khatm al-Qur’an) in more than 2,000 mosques across the country, as well as the construction of major educational complexes such as the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex and the Islamic Civilization Center, as important steps toward reviving Islamic enlightenment and national values.

In conclusion, prayers were offered for the President’s strong health, continued strength, and new achievements in his responsible work, as well as for the peace of our country, the prosperity of our people, and the blessings of the holy month.
