The Islamic Civilization Center amazed foreign specialists
The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan hosted another prestigious international delegation. Zhandos Shaimardanov, Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan, along with experts, closely familiarized with the Center’s activities and exhibitions.
During the visit, the guests particularly noted the rich content, modern approach, and high-quality presentation created at the Center. As emphasized, this place is not only a museum but also a modern scientific and educational space that invites visitors into a direct dialogue with history.
Sharing his impressions of the Center, Zhandos Shaimardanov stated:
“I was deeply impressed by what I saw. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most unique gems of modern Uzbekistan, especially of Tashkent. Its inclusion in the Guinness World Records indicates that it is truly a place to be proud of.
In that period, people set the development of science and enlightenment as a priority. They took responsibility for ensuring that society became educated. A vivid example of this is unique scientific structures such as the Mirzo Ulugbek Observatory.
Undoubtedly, this place is of great importance for the youth of modern Uzbekistan. One can see many young people and children here. For them, the Center is, above all, a source of inspiration and an opportunity to understand their own history and culture. Here, they gain a deeper understanding of the roots and directions of civilization’s development. The combination of traditional exhibits with modern digital technologies further encourages young people to actively engage with their history.”
Representatives of the delegation emphasized that the modern solutions applied in the Center deserve special attention. They also noted that in this immersive environment, visitors do not remain mere spectators but directly experience certain exhibitions, as if immersing themselves in the atmosphere of ancient times.
At the end of the visit, the delegation highly appreciated the scientific, spiritual, and cultural significance of the Islamic Civilization Center and particularly highlighted its steadily growing international prestige.
