The Center has introduced another convenience for visitors — a Face ID system
The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is increasingly presenting itself to visitors as a modern infrastructure equipped with advanced technologies.
As the range of conveniences continues to expand, the introduction of the Face ID system has become another important step in this direction.
The main advantage of the new system is its ability to ensure fast and accurate identification while minimizing the human factor. Previously, the entry process included certain time-consuming verification stages, but now, thanks to facial recognition technology, this process is completed in just a few seconds. This allows for efficient management of visitor flow and helps prevent congestion, especially on days with high attendance.
Another key feature of the system is its ability to automatically distinguish between local citizens and foreign visitors, applying an appropriate entry process for each. This not only improves the quality of service but also creates a convenient and user-friendly environment for international guests. At the same time, the absence of a requirement for additional documents further simplifies the visit process.
The implementation of Face ID technology is significant not only in terms of speed but also from a security perspective. Digitized entry processes under constant monitoring help strengthen order and discipline, which is especially important in a space where cultural heritage objects are preserved.
Okhunjon Ahmadaliyev, Chief Specialist of the Computer and Information Technologies Department:
“The system recognizes visitors through facial identification, automatically verifies their ticket compatibility, and requires almost no human intervention.
As a result of this new solution, queues are reduced, time is saved, and the entry process becomes more organized. At the same time, cases of counterfeit tickets or illegal resale are prevented, ensuring the protection of visitors’ rights. Separate lanes for local and foreign visitors at the entrance further enhance service efficiency.
Another important aspect is that no additional documents are required during the identification process. If the ticket data is correct, the system automatically grants access. This makes the visit even more convenient and understandable. Currently, since the system is in a testing phase, visitors are being provided with simple instructions regarding certain technical aspects.
Overall, this technology enriches the existing conveniences at the Center and elevates the quality of service to a new level. It is regarded as an important step toward ensuring modern infrastructure, security, and transparency.”
When evaluating this innovation more broadly, it can be seen as a logical continuation of the overall system of conveniences created for visitors. Interactive exhibitions, multimedia tools, convenient navigation, guide services, and infrastructure solutions have already been established here. The new Face ID system joins this range of features, taking the visitor experience to a more advanced modern level.
In this sense, the introduction of this technology can be viewed not merely as a technical update but as part of the Center’s overall development strategy. It contributes to elevating service culture, strengthening security, and forming infrastructure that meets international standards.
The implementation of the Face ID system further complements the existing conveniences at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, reinforcing it as an innovative and visitor-oriented space. This demonstrates that the Center strives not only to showcase historical heritage but also to develop in harmony with modern technologies.
