A place that has transformed the worldview and way of thinking of young people
Regular visits are being organized to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan — recognized as highly significant not only for its external grandeur and scale, but also for its profound internal content — on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. These visits are arranged for system employees, their family members, as well as students of academic lyceums and cadets. To date, more than 2,000 representatives of the system have been introduced to the essence and exhibitions of the Center, established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
As part of the latest visit, students from academic lyceums in the Bukhara, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions not only explored the museum exhibitions, but also took part in an open dialogue held at the Center with leaders of the internal affairs system.
During the dialogue, important issues such as the professional orientation of youth, strengthening patriotism and a sense of duty, their role in the idea of the Third Renaissance, as well as the integration of education and practice were discussed. Comprehensive answers were provided to the questions and proposals raised. Within the framework of the event, copies of the book “Modern Times and the New Uzbekistan” authored by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev were presented, and the Minister of Internal Affairs Aziz Tashpulatov addressed the youth with his wishes on setting clear future goals and plans.
The discussion also focused on pressing issues such as the professional direction of youth, their sense of patriotism, duty of service, and their role in the concept of the Third Renaissance.
Ulugbek Hamdamov, Head of the Social Protection Department of the Department for Spiritual and Educational Work and Personnel Support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel:
Today’s meeting held great spiritual significance for our youth. Such dialogues strengthen their confidence in the future. Most importantly, the youth are very active — their proposals are relevant and well-founded. These proposals will be gradually implemented in practice. The main goal of the address delivered by the Minister of Internal Affairs at the meeting is to instill confidence in young people about their future and to support them spiritually and educationally.
Olimjon Rahmatov, Senior Inspector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department, Senior Lieutenant:
Such visits are regularly organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result, thousands of young people have already become familiar with the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. During this latest event as well, students not only explored the exhibitions but also had the opportunity to engage directly with officials. This further strengthens their sense of patriotism, dedication, and responsibility.
Botir Murodillayev, a second-year student of the Bukhara Academic Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, noted that his impressions from visiting the Center became a strong motivation for achieving his future goals:
This visit gave us a great spiritual uplift. What we saw and heard here will serve as a strong impetus for achieving the goals we have set for ourselves. As our President emphasized, we — the youth — will build the Third Renaissance. This requires even greater knowledge and responsibility from us.
Charos Mahmudova, a first-year student of the Syrdarya Academic Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
Here, history can be experienced not only through books, but also in a vivid and interactive way. For example, seeing ancient musical instruments, writings, and other exhibits firsthand left a strong impression on me. Such visits are a great source of motivation for us, the youth. The more a person knows their history, the stronger their confidence in the future becomes.
Jonibek Tolibov, a student of the Jizzakh Academic Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
Seeing history come alive at the Center instills a sense of pride in a person. Especially participating in the meeting with officials and receiving the book and address inspired me even more. This motivates me to work harder on myself in the future and strengthens my confidence in serving my country with dignity.
Such meetings have a positive impact on the worldview, civic position, and spiritual development of young people, encouraging them to become devoted contributors to the progress of the nation.
