A visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan transforms a person from an ordinary observer into a thoughtful witness who feels the inseparable connection between the past and the present. Here, the concept of time loses its conventional meaning and acquires a new dimension through the continuity of civilizations.

This impression was once again confirmed during Dato’ Seri Diraja Zambry Abd Kadir’s visit to the Center’s exhibitions.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that this Center is a tremendous and far-sighted initiative implemented by the Government of Uzbekistan. The environment created here and the treasures presented leave a profound impression on every visitor. I am truly amazed by what I have seen.

One of the most important aspects is that the history of Islamic civilization in this region is presented in a consistent and impactful manner. This is of incomparable importance not only for understanding the past, but also for passing it on to future generations.

The educational value of this Center is especially remarkable. Through the study of civilization, one gains an understanding of how peoples and nations have developed over centuries. Here, the legacy of great scholars and thinkers who emerged from Central Asia, particularly the land of Uzbekistan, is vividly demonstrated.

I sincerely congratulate the leadership of Uzbekistan on establishing such a high-level museum of Islamic civilization. This visit has left an unforgettable impression on me.
