A German prosecutor expressed his desire to show the Islamic Civilization Center to his family

Senior Prosecutor of the Hamburg Prosecutor’s Office in Germany, Gerhard Brinker, noted that the historical roots connected to today’s development of science and culture can be clearly seen in the exhibitions of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

During his visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, Gerhard Brinker became closely acquainted with the Center’s main exhibitions, architectural design, displays reflecting historical buildings, the Hall of the Holy Qur’an, and modern interactive technologies.

Gerhard Brinker highly praised the way Uzbekistan’s rich scientific and educational heritage, as well as its contribution to the development of Islamic civilization, are presented through modern museum approaches at the Center.

According to the guest, the Center presents Islamic civilization not only from a religious perspective, but also in close connection with science, culture, enlightenment, and historical development. He particularly noted that the historical roots linked to the development of modern science and culture can clearly be observed in the Center’s exhibitions. Gerhard Brinker stated that he would recommend visiting the Center to others and emphasized that his first trip to Tashkent left a great impression on him. He also said that he hopes to show this place to his family members in the future.

Gerhard Brinker, German prosecutor:

“I was deeply impressed by the architecture of the museum. As I approached the building, I asked myself: ‘Have I ever seen such a magnificent structure before?’ I am particularly interested in the scientific and cultural aspects of Islam. Here, one can see many sources and roots connected to the development of our modern culture and science. This aspect greatly attracted my interest. The Islamic Civilization Center is not merely a place where historical exhibits are gathered, but also an important educational space that allows visitors to understand the connections between different eras, cultures, and scientific traditions. This is my first time in Tashkent, and after seeing this wonderful city, I am already thinking about returning in the future with my family. I would very much like to show this place to them as well.”
