President of the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association highlighted the ancient ties between Uzbekistan and China

During the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with Uzbekistan’s centuries-old civilizational heritage, its historical ties during the era of the Great Silk Road, as well as its role in the development of science, culture, and enlightenment through the exhibitions of the Center.

The delegation members highly appreciated the modern approach to presenting historical heritage, where digital technologies, interactive screens, and advanced artificial intelligence-based solutions vividly, clearly, and impressively showcase historical information.

As the guests explored the exhibitions dedicated to the development of astronomy, mathematics, and natural sciences, they paid special attention to the scientific schools established on the territory of Uzbekistan, the legacy of great scholars, and their contribution to the development of world civilization.

After thoroughly familiarized with the exhibitions, Gordon Tang highlighted the ancient historical ties between Uzbekistan and China, noting that the Great Silk Road played an important role in cultural, commercial, and educational exchanges between the two peoples.

“Here, I gained a much broader understanding of your country’s history and culture. Uzbekistan has maintained close ties with China since ancient times. Especially during the era of the Great Silk Road, this land emerged as one of the major centers of civilization. Through this museum, one can also witness your advanced history in the fields of astronomy, mathematics, and natural sciences,” said Gordon Tang.

According to the President of the Asian MMA Association, sports and enlightenment also play an important role in shaping values such as discipline, determination, and striving toward goals.

Gordon Tang described the Islamic Civilization Center not only as a place that showcases a rich historical heritage, but also as an important educational center that helps future generations, especially young people, gain a deep understanding of their nation’s civilization, science, and path of development.
