Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum: “This initiative is an extremely important investment in the future”
Hong Kong Palace Museum Director Louis Ng visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan and became closely acquainted with the Center’s activities, its concept, and its exhibitions.
During the visit, he was introduced to the Center’s scientific and educational initiatives, unique exhibits, historical manuscripts, cultural heritage artifacts, and projects reflecting the rich Islamic and intellectual traditions that have developed in the territory of Uzbekistan.
While touring the Center’s exhibitions, Louis Ng highly praised its architectural design, exhibition techniques enhanced by modern technologies, and the rich civilizational heritage of Uzbekistan.
“This is undoubtedly a place worth visiting. I consider this initiative to be an extremely important investment in the future. I would also like to see Uzbekistan’s rich civilization and cultural heritage promoted more widely across the Asian region and in China,” said Louis Ng, Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
The visit is of great significance for strengthening the Center’s international cultural and educational ties and for further promoting Uzbekistan’s rich historical heritage to the global community.
