A new space opening the door to intellectual curiosity

Electronic resources, computer zones, and an extensive book collection... Equipped with these and many other opportunities, the Library of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan has already opened its doors to readers. Membership and access to services at this unique intellectual space are currently provided free of charge.

Established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan serves not only as a major scientific and educational institution dedicated to researching the historical and cultural heritage of our country, but also as a platform for fostering a modern knowledge environment.

The Center’s modern library is opening new opportunities for readers, students, scholars, independent researchers, and young people eager to expand their knowledge.

In today’s digital age, a library is no longer merely a place where books are stored. It is becoming a hub of knowledge, information, and academic research. The Library of the Islamic Civilization Center has been established precisely on this principle, offering not only traditional book collections but also electronic resources, multimedia materials, and digital information services.

Membership — The first step into the world of knowledge

To gain full access to the library’s services, users must first complete the membership registration process.

For registration, applicants are required to present a passport, ID card, residence permit, or driver’s license. Young readers aged 14–16 may register using a birth certificate along with identification documents of their parents or legal guardians.

Upon registration, each user receives a special library ID card valid for two years. This card grants access to all library services and resources in accordance with established regulations.

All services are currently free

According to Ravshan Qodirov, Head of the Archives and Library Department of the Center:

The library is currently operating in a pilot mode. Users may register as members and access all available services free of charge. To do so, they simply need to submit the required documents and complete the membership process. Students, young researchers, and book enthusiasts can familiarize themselves with a modern information and library environment.

From printed books to digital resources

The library offers a wide range of services, including:

  • Printed literature collections;
  • Electronic books and digital resources;
  • Computer zones;
  • Audio and video materials;
  • Dedicated workspaces for academic research;
  • Reading and research halls.

These facilities provide readers with a comfortable environment for quickly finding information, conducting analysis, carrying out independent research, and expanding their knowledge.

Convenient opening hours for readers

The Center’s library operates according to the following schedule:

Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 22:00
Saturday: 09:00 – 18:00
Sunday: Closed

Extended evening hours offer additional convenience, particularly for students, researchers, and those who wish to study after work.

A new intellectual hub

Today, one of the most important factors in building a competitive society is ensuring broad access to knowledge and information.

The Library of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is emerging as a new intellectual hub dedicated to this very goal. Here, every reader can do more than simply read books — they can conduct research, discover new knowledge, and develop their intellectual potential.

In this sense, becoming a member of the Center’s library is not merely a registration process; it is an important step into the world of learning, enlightenment, and modern information resources.
