President of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan: “The Islamic Civilization Center is a great spiritual treasure for the entire Turkic world”
A delegation led by Aivaz Omorkanov, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the museum exposition of the Center. Members of the delegation toured the Holy Qur’an Hall, the First Renaissance Hall, the Second Renaissance Hall, and the “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of a New Renaissance” Hall. The historical heritage, educational content, and modern exhibition solutions presented in each hall generated great interest among the visitors.
Particular attention was drawn to the special display in the Holy Qur’an Hall, its artistic and technological design, and its profound spiritual significance. The delegation was also impressed by the model of the Olympic Village, the dedicated exhibition section devoted to athletes, and the emphasis on the development of the younger generation presented in the “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of a New Renaissance” section.
Aivaz Omorkanov, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, shared his impressions of the Center:
“Being here today and seeing the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan with my own eyes is a great honor for me. In my opinion, this institution is a tremendous spiritual treasure not only for the people of Uzbekistan, but also for the entire Turkic world and the wider Islamic world.
The atmosphere created here, the presentation of the historical heritage, and the depth and meaning of the exhibitions have left a profound impression on me. It is difficult to describe in simple words the remarkable work that has been accomplished here”.
At the conclusion of the visit, Aivaz Omorkanov left his wishes and sincere reflections in the Center’s Book of Honorary Guests.
The guests emphasized that the Center successfully harmonizes national and universal values, science, education, historical memory, and the ideas of modern development. Both sides noted that such educational and cultural institutions contribute to strengthening friendship between nations, fostering cultural affinity, and supporting the upbringing of future generations.
