The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, established at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is increasingly gaining international recognition as a major educational and cultural institution that embodies not only the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan but also that of humanity as a whole.

The Center’s core mission is to conduct scholarly research on the centuries-old civilizational heritage of the Uzbek people, preserve and promote this legacy, make it accessible to the wider public, and contribute to strengthening the foundations of the Third Renaissance. This large-scale project, implemented under the direct initiative of the President, occupies a special place in the spiritual development strategy of New Uzbekistan.

As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the heads of government of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus visited this prestigious scientific and educational institution. Their visit serves as a significant international acknowledgment of Uzbekistan’s extensive efforts to preserve, study, and promote cultural heritage.

The delegation included Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic; Kohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan; Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan; and Alexander Turchin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, who accompanied them throughout the tour.

The visit began at the Gallery of Great Figures, where guests were introduced to the lives and scholarly legacies of outstanding scholars and thinkers who made invaluable contributions to the Islamic world and global civilization.

The delegation then toured the halls dedicated to the Pre-Islamic Period, the First Renaissance, the Second Renaissance, and the exhibition New Uzbekistan – The Foundation of a New Renaissance. The Center’s advanced multimedia technologies, interactive solutions, and the Uthmanic Mushaf displayed in the Hall of the Holy Qur’an attracted particular interest.

Comprehensive information about the Center’s activities, concept, and scholarly significance was presented by the Center’s Director, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, and Rustam Jabborov.

“This monumental project was realized on the initiative of our esteemed President, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. It was his vision and strategic guidance that laid the foundation for the establishment of this Center. Under his leadership, all activities were organized and developed in a systematic manner.

A special headquarters was created for the project, bringing together not only Uzbek builders and experts but also highly qualified specialists from around the world. That is why our President has repeatedly emphasized that this Center belongs not only to Uzbekistan but represents the shared cultural and spiritual heritage of all humanity”, said Director Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

At the conclusion of the visit, the heads of government left messages in the Center’s Book of Honored Guests and highly praised Uzbekistan’s reforms aimed at preserving cultural heritage, promoting scholarly research, and expanding public awareness of historical achievements.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Turchin:

“I am sincerely impressed by the grandeur and unique character of the Islamic Civilization Center, established through the initiative and comprehensive support of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. This architectural masterpiece and exceptional museum have inspired the advancement of science, art, and enlightenment across centuries. I wish the Center continued growth and success, and I wish the friendly people of Uzbekistan peace, prosperity, and well-being”.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov:

Under the leadership of President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev and with the dedicated efforts of those entrusted with this mission, the history of Islam has been recreated here in a truly remarkable way.

All exhibitions have been designed with exceptional artistic excellence and great skill while remaining faithful to historical truth. I can confidently say that this Center, whose equal is difficult to find anywhere in the world, reflects the full grandeur of Islamic civilization.

I am convinced that the three stages of the Islamic Renaissance presented here will educate and inspire future generations for many years to come, helping them understand history and offering valuable moral lessons to every visitor regardless of religion or belief.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev:

This Center is a vivid example of the tremendous efforts being made to preserve and pass on the centuries-old scientific, cultural, and philosophical heritage of the Islamic world to future generations. The visit of the heads of government of these five countries became another practical confirmation that the spiritual and educational reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan under the vision of the New Renaissance are receiving high recognition on the international stage.
