The presentation of the Islamic Civilization Center generated great interest among participants of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum
These days, the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF–2026) is being held in the capital city. Recognized as one of the most prestigious investment platforms in Central Asia, the forum has brought together government officials, heads of international financial institutions, investors, major business representatives, experts, and media professionals from around the world.
Within the framework of the forum, discussions are being held on investment, industrial cooperation, the digital economy, green energy, innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable development. At the same time, the event serves as an important platform for showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as its civilizational potential, to the international community.
A special presentation of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan was organized as part of the forum. The event, held to implement the instructions given following the presentation on the Center’s activities to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, attracted considerable interest from international guests.
During the presentation, participants were shown a scale model reflecting the architectural design of the Center. The capabilities of modern robotic guides, which are planned to assist visitors throughout the exhibitions, were also demonstrated. In addition, special video presentations highlighted the Center’s educational and scientific activities, exhibition concept, and future objectives.
Guests were provided with detailed information about the Center’s exhibitions, which illustrate the history of pre-Islamic civilizations in the territory of Uzbekistan, ancient statehood traditions, the First and Second Renaissance periods, the rich scholarly heritage of great thinkers and scholars from Central Asia, and the large-scale reforms being implemented to lay the foundation for the Third Renaissance in New Uzbekistan.
Among the participants was Egyptian journalist Fatima Badawi, who specializes in Central Asian affairs and shared her impressions of the Center.
“I have written several articles about this Center. During my first visit, construction work was still underway here. Today, I am amazed to see the immense scale this project has reached. Uzbekistan is taking a very important step toward introducing the history and heritage of Islamic civilization to the world. This is a cultural and educational project of significance not only for Uzbekistan but for the entire world. The rich history of Islamic civilization and its remarkable achievements in science and culture are presented here in a truly worthy manner. I am confident that in the future, tourists from various countries, especially from the Arab world, will visit Uzbekistan to see this Center. In every article I write, I encourage my readers to come to Uzbekistan and discover this remarkable institution,” she said.
Representatives of foreign companies participating in the forum also highly praised the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and the opportunities being created for investors. In particular, Jedi Zhao, a representative of CAMCE, an international industrial construction company, shared his views on Uzbekistan’s development and investment climate.
“This is the third time we have participated in this forum. During this period, we have had the opportunity to witness the practical results of the economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan. We have great confidence in the country’s future development. We would like to contribute to Uzbekistan’s economic and cultural progress through our technologies and expertise,” he noted.
Promising projects in the field of green energy are also being widely discussed during the forum. In particular, ACWA Power is participating as a Platinum Sponsor and presenting major initiatives focused on renewable energy sources, energy storage systems, green hydrogen production, and the development of modern energy infrastructure.
The organization of the presentation of the Islamic Civilization Center within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum is helping to promote not only Uzbekistan’s economic potential but also its rich history, cultural heritage, and civilizational achievements on the international stage. This has become yet another practical example of how economic development and spiritual advancement are progressing hand in hand as complementary priorities in New Uzbekistan.
