Seventy retired veterans of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, where they explored the millennia-long development of the nation's civilization, scholarly heritage, and spiritual values. The exhibitions, rare manuscripts, cutting-edge technologies, and the integration of the ideas of New Uzbekistan left a lasting impression on the visitors.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the history of pre-Islamic civilizations, the First and Second Renaissance periods, the legacy of great scholars, and the large-scale reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan. They also showed particular interest in the exhibitions titled “New Uzbekistan – The Foundation of a New Renaissance” and the Holy Qur’an Hall.

The retired prosecutors highly appreciated the way the Center presents the nation’s historical heritage in a comprehensive and chronological manner.

Dildora Safoyeva, a retired veteran of the Prosecutor General’s Office, noted that the Center successfully combines the legacy of the ancestors with opportunities being created for future generations. In her view, the unique library, the research environment, and the rich exhibitions inspire a strong sense of national pride in every visitor.

A special highlight for the veterans was the dedicated section within the “New Uzbekistan – The Foundation of a New Renaissance” exhibition devoted to the activities of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The display features the history of the institution, the contributions of its distinguished veterans, and historical documents reflecting its development.

Another participant, Mirzo Obidov, remarked that visiting the Center greatly enriched his understanding of history.

“Knowing history means understanding your identity. The rare manuscripts, artifacts, and scholarly heritage preserved here bring visitors face to face with the past. This Center is not only a national treasure but also a spiritual and educational institution of international significance,” he said.

Gulbahor Isroilova, a member of the Veterans’ Council, also shared her impressions, describing the Center as a unique institution where the spirit of an entire civilization is embodied.

“Here, one truly feels immersed in history. The library and manuscript collection particularly impressed me. This is a place that teaches young people to take pride in their history and draw inspiration from the legacy of their ancestors,” she said.

At the conclusion of the visit, the guests became members of the Center’s library and expressed their intention to make regular use of its scholarly and educational resources in the future.

As the veterans emphasized, the visit was far more than an ordinary excursion — it became a meaningful spiritual dialogue connecting the past with the future. The experience further strengthened their commitment to understanding, preserving, and passing on the rich legacy of their ancestors to future generations.
