Efforts to widely promote the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people and introduce the invaluable scientific and spiritual legacy of Islamic civilization to the international community continue to attract the attention of foreign partners and experts. As part of one such visit, representatives of Saudi Arabia’s prestigious hospitality sector visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

The delegation included Samer Khair, Cluster General Manager of the Pullman Zamzam Hotels Group in Saudi Arabia. During the visit, the guests were introduced to the Center’s core areas of activity, its ongoing scientific and educational projects, state-of-the-art exhibitions, and future development plans.

The delegation toured the Center’s exhibition halls, exploring the rich scholarly traditions that flourished in the territory of present-day Uzbekistan, the legacy of its great scholars, ancient manuscripts, rare artifacts, and immersive presentations created with advanced multimedia technologies. They were provided with detailed information about the invaluable contributions of their ancestors to the development of Islamic civilization in fields such as science, medicine, astronomy, mathematics, philosophy, and many other disciplines.

It was emphasized that the Center is far more than a museum or exhibition venue. It serves as a modern scientific platform dedicated to research, educational and cultural outreach, and the advancement of international cooperation. Numerous projects are being implemented here to study historical sources, make them accessible to the wider public, and strengthen respect for national and religious values among younger generations.

The delegation highly praised the facilities created at the Center, its innovative approach, and its successful integration of historical heritage with modern technology. They were particularly impressed by the scholarly presentation of the exhibits, interactive digital solutions, and the visitor-friendly environment throughout the complex.
