To further enhance the quality of visitor services, the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan organized another professional training seminar for its tour guides. During the session, Obid Tangirov, Senior Research Fellow at the Center’s Museum and Exhibitions Research Department, delivered a detailed presentation on one of the museum’s most distinctive projects the “Wall of Civilizations and Discoveries” exhibition.

During the seminar, participants received a comprehensive overview of the exhibition’s scholarly concept, architectural design, collection of exhibits, and multimedia features. The exhibition is divided into three major sections:

• Pre Islamic Period Civilizations
• The First Renaissance
• The Second Renaissance

Each section measures 52 meters in length and 8 meters in height, presenting the history of statehood, scientific achievement, and cultural development in the territory of present-day Uzbekistan through a unified chronological narrative.

The exhibition features hundreds of unique artifacts, coins, architectural models, graphic illustrations, video presentations, interactive games, digital maps, and holographic displays, offering visitors an engaging and immersive experience of the country’s rich historical heritage through cutting-edge museum technologies.

Such training seminars play an important role in enhancing the professional skills of the Center’s tour guides, enabling them to present the museum’s exhibitions in a scientifically accurate and engaging manner while ensuring a higher standard of service for visitors.
