Salah Mawajdeh, Vice President for Government Affairs for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region at Hikma Pharmaceuticals LLC, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. During his visit, he toured the Center and described it as an important international platform dedicated to preserving the legacy of Islamic civilization and presenting it to the world through modern approaches.

During the visit, Salah Mawajdeh showed keen interest in the Center’s museum exhibits, their historical significance, and their scholarly value.

According to Salah Mawajdeh, the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is not only preserving the rich heritage of Islamic civilization but also playing a significant international role in presenting it to contemporary audiences in an engaging and accessible manner.

“I was truly impressed by what I saw. What amazed me most was the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of Islamic history and civilization within a relatively short period of time. It is deeply encouraging to see Uzbekistan preserving this rich Islamic heritage for future generations. The younger generation can quickly lose interest in traditional methods of teaching. Here, however, information is conveyed very effectively through videos, models, and modern interpretations of historical events. This approach inspires young people to take pride in their history and the legacy of Islamic civilization. Reading books is essential, but experiencing history in such an interactive environment makes it far more meaningful and impactful,” said Salah Mawajdeh.

At the conclusion of his visit, the Jordanian guest noted that initiatives of this kind contribute to strengthening intercultural dialogue, preserving historical memory, and passing on a rich spiritual and cultural heritage to future generations.
