Fahad Al-Shebel: “The strongest foundation for peace and cooperation”
During his visit to Uzbekistan, Fahad Al-Shebel, Chief Executive Officer of NUPCO and a representative of the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who toured the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, shared his views on an important factor in strengthening global solidarity and cooperation.
Fahad Al-Shebel, Chief Executive Officer of NUPCO, described the Center as a significant cultural and educational institution dedicated to the scholarly preservation and study of Uzbekistan’s rich historical and Islamic heritage, while presenting it to the international community through modern approaches.
Fahad Al-Shebel noted that his visit to the Center had given him a much broader understanding of Uzbekistan’s history.
“I am truly delighted to have visited this Center. Here, I gained a comprehensive understanding of Uzbekistan’s pre-Islamic history, the flourishing periods of Islamic civilization, and the country’s remarkable progress today. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the realization of this project. The better we understand each other’s history and culture, the stronger our mutual trust becomes. Appreciating the history, values, and cultural identity of every nation brings countries closer together. A deeper understanding of cultures is a vital foundation for strengthening global solidarity and cooperation,” he said.
It was noted that the Center’s unique collection of artifacts, scholarly resources, and state-of-the-art presentation technologies provides a common platform for intercultural dialogue, fostering greater trust and cooperation among nations through a deeper appreciation of their shared historical heritage.
