Judges: “This center strengthens young people’s respect for history and their sense of patriotism”
At the initiative of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, judges and court staff from various regions of the country visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
Nargiza Sharipova, Judge of the Andijan City Criminal Court, described the Center as a scientific and educational institution that comprehensively presents the country’s history and spiritual heritage.
“The exhibitions at the Center left a profound impression on us. It is particularly significant that Uzbekistan’s ancient history, rich cultural traditions, and national heritage are brought together in one place. The richness of the exhibits enables every visitor to gain a deeper understanding of our country’s history and culture. Modern technologies make historical knowledge more accessible, engaging, and impactful,” she said.
Umid Jumayev, Deputy Chairman of the Bukhara Interdistrict Economic Court of Bukhara Region, highlighted the Center’s important role in the spiritual and moral education of young people.
According to him, the museum exhibitions provide a comprehensive understanding of the country’s history while helping visitors appreciate the legacies of the First and Second Renaissances and the rich heritage of their ancestors.
“This Center plays an important role in strengthening such values among the younger generation as respect for our history, pride in our ancestors, and a commitment to preserving and advancing their traditions of knowledge and enlightenment,” he said.
Ibod Khurshid, Senior Assistant to a Judge of the Jizzakh Regional Court, noted that the museum concept of the Center enables visitors to experience historical events through modern technologies.
“We have read about these events in books. However, as we explored the exhibitions here, it felt as though we had stepped into the very atmosphere of those historical periods. Every section reflects tremendous scholarly effort. It inspires a stronger sense of pride in one’s own history and culture. I am confident that international visitors, too, will gain a much deeper understanding of Uzbekistan’s rich civilizational heritage here,” he said.
At the conclusion of the visit, the participants emphasized that the environment created at the Center fosters a deeper sense of national identity, promotes the preservation of cultural heritage, strengthens legal and spiritual values, and nurtures patriotism, historical awareness, and respect for knowledge among the younger generation.
