The Jordan Times: International Media Forum “Islamic Civilization: New Perspective, New Discoveries” to take place in Tashkent on August 24–28
Jordan’s The Jordan Times reported on the International Media Forum titled “Islamic Civilization: New Perspective, New Discoveries,” which will be held in Tashkent on August 24–28. According to the publication, the prestigious forum will bring together representatives of international media outlets, media professionals, and experts to discuss documentary filmmaking, historical memory, modern technologies, publishing, and the development of international media projects. The forum will also feature master classes for Uzbek students with representatives of the global media industry, special media tours for international journalists, and visits to Samarkand.
AMMAN — The International Media Forum titled “Islamic Civilization: New Perspective, New Discoveries” will be held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on August 24–28.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Amman, the main events of the forum will take place at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The forum will bring together representatives of international media outlets, world-renowned experts, and media professionals.
The forum program includes an official opening ceremony, plenary sessions, thematic media exhibitions, press briefings, and bilateral meetings. The sessions will focus on documentary filmmaking and historical memory, publishing projects, modern technologies, as well as the development of international media projects.
Master classes will also be organized for Uzbek students with the participation of leading experts from the global media industry. Participants will exchange experience in modern journalism, media content production, and effective engagement in the international information landscape.
On August 27, forum participants will travel to Samarkand. As part of the program, the guests will visit the Imam Bukhari Complex and explore the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage. A special media tour in Tashkent is also planned for representatives of international media outlets.
On August 28, the forum will conclude with a final plenary session and an official closing ceremony. International guests will also take part in events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
