The fact that this media forum is being held in Uzbekistan, particularly at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, makes it a highly important platform for informing the global public about the work being carried out here.

It provides a valuable opportunity to learn more about Uzbekistan’s rich heritage, history, and great scholars, as well as the country’s contribution to the development of the modern world.

Many great discoveries and ideas originated in the land of Uzbekistan, yet the world is still not fully aware of them. Take, for example, Khwarizmi’s immense contribution to science: without him, there would be no algorithms. Today, as we use mobile phones and computers, we do not always realize that many of the ideas and concepts underlying these technologies originated in the land of Uzbekistan. That is why forums like this are so important for bringing such knowledge to a broad international audience. I would like to express my gratitude to Uzbekistan for organizing this event. I am delighted to be taking part in the Forum.

It is difficult to imagine the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan without the ideas and foresight of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The President put forward this initiative back in 2017, and it took nearly nine years to bring it to fruition.

Today, the Center is becoming an important institution for showcasing Uzbekistan’s history, heritage, and contribution to world civilization to a global audience.

I believe that initiatives like this are extremely important in today’s increasingly divided and polarized world. They help representatives of different religions and civilizations better understand one another, foster mutual understanding, and contribute to peace.

For this reason, I consider the work of this Center and forums such as this one held within its framework to be highly important. They provide the world with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of different civilizations, particularly Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
