I always hope that events like this will continue to showcase the achievements of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the world. It is important to demonstrate that Uzbekistan presents Islamic civilization not merely as written history, but as a living force that continues to reach people today, spreading light and peace throughout the world.

In many countries, Uzbekistan may be perceived as a country that is not widely known in the global media landscape or frequently covered by the media. However, after participating in this Forum and seeing firsthand the work being carried out here, as well as the tremendous effort and dedication behind it, I became convinced that Uzbekistan is a country confidently pursuing its path of development and taking a leading role. This is particularly important for Central Asia and the wider region.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to sincerely congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on September 1 — Independence Day. We wish the Republic of Uzbekistan nothing but the very best. We wish your country prosperity, progress and continued development, and all your people good health, peace and well-being.

As a reminder, the international media forum “Islamic Civilization: New Perspective — New Discoveries,” taking place from August 24 to 28, brings together around 300 representatives of the media and expert communities from nearly 50 countries, including executives of media companies, news agencies and television channels, journalists, producers, scholars, and creative industry professionals.
