Adviser to the President of Kazakhstan on the Islamic Civilization Center: “Every exhibition speaks its own language”

During the visit, the guests were briefed on the Center’s concept, the examples of historical and cultural heritage presented in its exhibition halls, the scholarly and spiritual legacy of great scholars and thinkers, as well as the role of Central Asia in the rise of Islamic civilization.
Malik Otarbayev emphasized that, alongside the history of Uzbekistan, the Center extensively presents the rich history, culture, and spiritual heritage of the entire Turkic world and Eastern civilization. In his view, every detail of the exhibitions clearly reflects a high level of responsibility and refined taste.
The Kazakh guest also noted that the Uthman Mushaf preserved at the Center further enhances its international significance. He emphasized that the special attention and support of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev are clearly evident in the establishment of the Center and the creation of its exhibitions, describing the institution as a practical embodiment of the President’s spiritual vision and initiatives.
“Of course, our President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, has also visited this Center and familiarized himself with its activities. We, too, were deeply impressed by the Center. It presents not only the history, culture, literature, and art of Uzbekistan, but also the history and culture of the Turkic world as a whole, which can serve as an example for all humanity, together with its comprehensive historical panorama.
In particular, the fact that the Holy Qur’an recited by the third Caliph, Uthman ibn Affan, one of the great treasures of the Eastern world, is preserved at this very Center further enhances its prestige and status. We witnessed that every exhibition at the Center has been prepared with great care and responsibility. Each exhibition speaks in its own language, and it is clearly evident that every detail here has been created with purpose rather than by chance.
Both in the establishment of the Center and in the arrangement of each exhibition, the direct support, influence, and personal approach of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev can be clearly seen. In this sense, we regard this Center as bearing the personal imprint of Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev and as an expression of the spiritual richness he has long cherished in his heart.
In my view, not only the peoples of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, but the entire global community should become acquainted with this Center. We are always proud that the Uzbek people have achieved such a remarkable accomplishment. May the brotherhood and friendship between the Kazakh and Uzbek peoples endure forever and grow ever stronger,” said Malik Otarbayev, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the visit, Malik Otarbayev left his wishes in the Book of Honored Guests.
On behalf of the Islamic Civilization Center, the guest was presented with a commemorative gift — a book featuring a collection of rare miniatures by the great artist Kamoliddin Behzod, titled “Behzod who put Mani to shame.”
