Senior citizens and young people hold an educational meeting at the Islamic Civilization Center

During the visit, the young participants explored the Center’s exhibitions and learned about the rich scholarly and cultural heritage that has developed over centuries in the territory of present-day Uzbekistan, as well as the contributions of great scholars to the advancement of world civilization. The Center’s modern library, historical manuscripts, and rare exhibits also attracted considerable interest.
As part of the educational visit, a warm and engaging dialogue was also organized between senior citizens and young people. During the meeting, representatives of the older generation shared their life experiences and views on the importance of education, upbringing, and the pursuit of knowledge in personal development. The young participants, in turn, asked questions of interest to them and exchanged views on history, science, reading, and modern education.
During the discussion, it was emphasized that a person’s aspiration for knowledge and continuous self-improvement are important factors in achieving outstanding results. Indeed, behind the scholarly legacy of the great figures who left their mark on history lie years of research, hard work, and dedication to learning and enlightenment.
Such meetings encourage young people to study the legacy of their ancestors more deeply, learn from the life experience of the older generation, and further strengthen their interest in knowledge and learning.
By bringing senior citizens and young people together in a shared educational setting, the visit served as a practical expression of efforts to strengthen the spiritual bond between generations, pass historical heritage on to the younger generation, and preserve it for the future.
