A delegation led by İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

The guests were welcomed by Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, who briefed the delegation on the Center’s scholarly and educational concept, exhibitions, and activities.

During the visit, the Turkish delegation became closely acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage presented at the Center, its rare artifacts, and its modern scholarly and educational solutions.

Reflecting on his impressions of the visit, İbrahim Yumaklı noted that it was difficult to fully convey in words the historical heritage presented at the Center and its artistic interpretation:

“First of all, words are inadequate to describe this Center, which is itself a great work of art. Even saying that I was truly impressed would not fully express the impact this place has had on me. This remarkable Center, located on this blessed land and preserving the heritage of our ancestors, takes visitors on an extraordinary journey through history. I believe it should be visited, first and foremost, by Muslims from around the world, as well as by all Turkic peoples and everyone interested in art, history, and the heritage of the past. This is a place one should see at least once in a lifetime.”

İbrahim Yumaklı also highlighted the initiative and personal attention of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the establishment of the Center and expressed his gratitude for making possible the creation of such a major historical and educational complex.

“Inshallah, from now on, I will tell everyone I meet and speak with about this place,” the Turkish minister said.

He also expressed his appreciation to the workers, craftsmen, engineers, and all specialists who contributed to the creation of the Center

At the conclusion of the visit, Firdavs Abdukhalikov presented commemorative gifts to the head of the Turkish delegation.
İbrahim Yumaklı also recorded his impressions in the Book of Honored Guests:

“Words are inadequate to describe this monumental work created on the basis of the personal vision and guidance of the esteemed President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. I am delighted to have had the opportunity to visit brotherly Uzbekistan and these unique lands where our ancestors once lived, and to undertake another journey through history by encountering this invaluable heritage. I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound respect to everyone. The brotherhood between Uzbekistan and Türkiye will endure forever and will be passed on from generation to generation.”
