35 years of progress reflected in a photo exhibition
A photo exhibition titled “The gratitude of New Uzbekistan”, reflecting Uzbekistan’s path of development during the years of independence, has been organized at the museum exposition of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
The photo exhibition was prepared on the basis of the “Chronicle of independence triumph” book-album, published by the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The exposition brings together the rich historical heritage of our country and the transformations of the independence years into a single visual narrative. The photographs depict various periods of the country’s life, the processes of construction and creation, modern urban development, changes in social life, improvements in people’s living conditions, as well as Uzbekistan’s activities on the international stage.
In this way, the exhibition presents visitors not with individual events, but with a comprehensive picture of 35 years of development. One photograph reflects historical memory, while another captures the progress of today. What unites them is the new reality that has taken shape over the years of independence.
Zikirova Maxfirat, an official of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, spoke about the conceptual message of the photo exhibition and explained its purpose as follows:
“Today, based on the photographs included in the ‘Chronicle of independence triumph’ book-album, we are organizing the ‘The gratitude of new Uzbekistan’ exhibition. It reflects the achievements of the independence period, the extensive development and construction work carried out, and the significant changes that have taken place in the life of our country.
Through this exhibition, we aim to encourage people to appreciate the value of the free, prosperous, peaceful, and flourishing life we enjoy today and to further strengthen feelings of gratitude, pride, and national pride among the public, especially young people.”
According to her, displaying the photo exhibition in crowded public places and educational institutions is helping to broaden its audience.
“Our goal is for more people to see the changes taking place in our country and the achievements we are making. In particular, we can see that interest in Uzbekistan from foreign countries is growing today.
This can also be observed in the example of foreign guests visiting the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. Today alone, several groups of international visitors to the Center viewed this photo exhibition. This shows that the transformations and development taking place in our country are also attracting the interest of foreign guests,” she said.
The “The gratitude of New Uzbekistan” photo exhibition is a visual chronicle that tells the story of the years of independence through photographs. It brings together, in a single space, memories of the past, the realities of the present, and various dimensions of the country’s development.
