The Development of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan Continues at a Rapid Pace

The opening ceremony of the Center for Islamic Civilization, being constructed under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is scheduled for September this year. In this regard, significant measures are being taken to organize the exhibition based on modern, innovative solutions and international standards.

In particular, a roundtable discussion was held at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, focusing on the exhibition of the First Renaissance era. Representatives of the Italian company “Magister Art” and scholars participated in the discussion, addressing issues related to organizing the exhibition according to global standards.

Additionally, at the Center, a meeting was held with Emmanuel Brelot, a representative of Wilmotte & Associés, along with Center staff, art historians, and source researchers, to discuss the design of the walls and interior of the exhibition.

Furthermore, as part of this mega project in Uzbekistan, local scholars and the specialists of the Center gathered to work on enriching the exhibition dedicated to the Second Renaissance era.
