The President of Finland visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, is currently visiting our country.

The distinguished guest visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan a unique masterpiece that unites the past and the future in one place.

President Alexander Stubb was accompanied by the Center’s leadership and scholars, who provided him with detailed information about the significance of this complex, which holds immense importance for global science and the Islamic world.

Indeed, among nearly 1,000 projects displayed in the Center’s exhibitions, more than 400 are being implemented jointly with international partners. This fact underscores the growing role of the Islamic Civilization Center in inspiring and connecting scholars around the world toward scientific collaboration and discovery.

President Stubb took a keen interest in the museum and exhibition halls of the Center and acknowledged that Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage is truly invaluable on a global scale.

During the visit, President Alexander Stubb also gained a deeper understanding of how this institution built to honor values and pay respect to the forefathers serves as a true beacon of knowledge and a foundation for the enlightenment of future generations.

President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb:

“To be honest, I was overwhelmed by an ocean of impressions here. Every exhibition, every hall, every detail is thoughtfully designed. Delivering three thousand years of history to today’s generation in such a modern form requires great artistry and mastery.

This Center has not only revived the heritage of past centuries but has also become a source of inspiration for future generations. In particular, the interactive displays and innovative technologies captivate young visitors. Here, they do not merely read about history they feel it.

It is impossible to feel bored in this environment. Every scene, every illuminated detail is unique. I am leaving this place with immense gratitude and admiration.”

The traditional ornaments, majestic portals, and the grandeur of the domes that adorn the Center naturally leave a profound impression on every foreign visitor, acquainting them not only with the three-thousand-year-old history of the land of Turan but also with the bright future of Uzbekistan.
