Built on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and harmonizing national heritage with modern interpretation, the Islamic Civilization Center has rapidly become the largest educational institution in Central Asia for international delegations. As part of the events held within the China Culture Days organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation led by the Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, Lu Yingchuan, visited the Islamic Civilization Center.

During the visit, the guests were provided with detailed information about the center’s concept, exhibition structure, and the modern museum standards established under the initiative of the President. Members of the delegation explored the sections on the Pre-Islamic Period, the First and Second Renaissances, as well as the “New Uzbekistan — New Renaissance” exhibition, giving high appreciation to the center’s capacity to present historical processes consistently, scientifically, and in a format suitable for a global audience.

Lu Yingchuan acknowledged the center as an important space showcasing Uzbekistan’s scientific and intellectual potential. According to him, the digitized materials, interactive technologies, live models, and modern exhibition design do not merely display history but allow visitors to experience, feel, and deeply comprehend it.

“This center is a unique scholarly bridge that contributes to strengthening cultural ties between nations. It not only connects history and culture but also unites people, creating new bridges of cooperation and friendship. For us, this visit is not only a valuable experience but also a source of inspiration for the future, an important step towards cultural dialogue and collaboration,” said Lu Yingchuan.

Members of the delegation also highlighted the center’s youth programs, educational projects, and favorable opportunities created for international academic cooperation. In their view, the center can mark a new stage in strengthening cultural relations between the two countries.

At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed readiness to expand practical projects with Uzbekistan in the fields of culture, research of historical heritage, manuscript exchange, and academic-methodological cooperation. In turn, the Islamic Civilization Center stated that within the policy of openness and international partnership established by the President, it will continue strengthening cultural bridges between nations.
