During his visit to Tashkent, Turkmenistan’s leading museum director, Meretgeldi Chariyev, was deeply impressed by the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. According to him, the exhibitions, precious manuscripts, and video presentations about presidential initiatives represent “a vivid expression of the cultural renaissance unfolding in Central Asia.”

Scientific and cultural cooperation in Central Asia is entering a new stage. As noted by Salomiyon Muhammad Qayum, Vice President of the National Academy of Tajikistan, the political will of Presidents Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev is shaping a shared path directed toward unity, development, and the preservation of historical heritage in the region. The congress held in Tashkent is contributing to a deeper study of our thousand-year common heritage and strengthening friendship among nations.

The Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, Atageldi Shamiradov, described the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan as the most significant scientific and educational institution in the region and highly praised Uzbekistan’s initiatives in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

A delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan and explored its exhibitions in detail. Members of the delegation emphasized that the Center is an important cultural and spiritual hub not only for Uzbekistan but for the entire Muslim world.
