At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, a working session was held to refine the exhibition section titled “Uzbekistan in the 20th Century”. This project is aimed at presenting the history of statehood, societal development, political processes, and spiritual-cultural transformations that occurred in Uzbekistan during the 20th century, based on scholarly and theoretical foundations.

Today, as part of the fruitful cooperation between the Writers’ union of Uzbekistan and the Center of Islamic Civilization, an important cultural and educational event took place. A collection of more than 500 rare and valuable books was gifted to the Center’s library.

The French Ministry of Culture has launched a large-scale project worth 800 million euros to reconstruct the Louvre Museum. This initiative, called the “New Louvre Renaissance”, aims to modernize the museum in accordance with contemporary standards over the coming years.

Today, August 5, marks the birthday of the prominent master of Uzbek literature writer, playwright, publicist, and translator the People’s Writer of Uzbekistan, O‘tkir Hoshimov.
