When foreign historians and source scholars conduct research on the history of our country and the lives of our great scholars, they often express the sentiment: “The youth of your nation must deeply understand whose descendants they are and what a magnificent spiritual heritage they have inherited”. Indeed, in recent years, within the framework of the ongoing process of educational renewal, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has advanced initiatives aimed at enhancing the pride and dignity of our people and building the future upon the foundation of our rich legacy, reports UzA.

Among the historical figures who scientifically presented their past and approached the heritage of their ancestors with deep respect, the Khan of Khiva, Abulgazi Bahadur Khan, occupies a special place. He was not only a skilled statesman of his time but also one of the first historians to deeply analyze the history of the Uzbek and, more broadly, Turkic peoples, applying contemporary sciences. His work, Shajara-i Turk, is not merely a genealogical record but a rare source of high historical, cultural, and scholarly value.

At various periods in our country’s history, world-renowned civilizations, vast empires, admirable cities, and priceless architectural monuments have emerged. In particular, the unparalleled examples of cultural heritage created by our great ancestors have left an indelible mark on human history. The scientific, historical, and literary works they produced are today preserved in various parts of the world in foreign collections, foundations, libraries, and museums.
