The exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization includes another unique historical example — a masterfully carved replica of the door of Amir Temur’s mausoleum in Samarkand. This replica stands not only as a symbol of our material culture but also as a precious embodiment of our spiritual heritage.

According to Italian “Magister Art” company architect-designer Laura Peretti, the work on this exposition is “one of the most complex, yet most memorable stages”.

Recently, one of the world’s oldest and most famous auction houses Christie’s, located in London, United Kingdom held a sale of antiquities related to India and the Islamic world. Among the items offered for sale were ancient objects and manuscripts directly connected to Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage.

The world’s museums are coming together in Uzbekistan. A global exhibition titled “Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage – the property of all humanity” is planned to be held in Tashkent.
