On May 26–27 of this year, the international forum titled “Spiritual Heritage and Cultural Expressions of the Islamic World: Calligraphy, Music, Poetry, and Harmony” was held in the city of Samarkand. Distinguished guests from more than 20 member countries of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – ICESCO – took part in the event.

At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Center of Islamic Civilization is being built in the city of Tashkent. This complex is a grand and unique project unprecedented in our history. Today, the magnificent building is rising, and the construction has entered its final stage.

Today, within the framework of developing the exhibitions of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, a number of important discussions are taking place. One such discussion was held at the State Museum of the History of the Timurids in Tashkent.

A delegation led by Salim bin Muhammad Al-Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – ICESCO, visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.
