President of the New Development Bank
I have many wonderful and heartfelt impressions of this Center. First and foremost, I was deeply impressed by the exceptional quality with which every detail of this building has been executed. The elegant patterns on the walls, the exquisite craftsmanship of the doors, and the rich artisanal traditions reflected in every corner of the museum are truly remarkable.
At the same time, this place harmoniously brings together the influences of different historical periods and civilizations, immersing visitors in the rich spiritual world of Islamic civilization. It is a civilization that has given humanity invaluable knowledge in mathematics, astronomy, literature, and poetry, while promoting the ideals of harmony and cooperation among peoples. The exhibitions also vividly illustrate how cities emerged and developed throughout history.
What impressed me most was the concept of the Renaissance. The historical and spiritual connection between the First Renaissance, the Second Renaissance, and the Third Renaissance is presented here in a deeply compelling way. Today, the idea of the Third Renaissance represents an important process being advanced under the initiative and leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Most importantly, it is clearly rooted in the strong scientific and cultural foundations established by the two great Renaissances that came before it.
In today's complex world, filled with numerous challenges, seeing initiatives like this gives people hope. I believe that the most important thing for all of us is to look to the future with confidence and to see a horizon that inspires us. This Center embodies precisely that idea: every country and every nation has the potential to fully realize its capabilities and build a new era of renaissance and progress.
