On the battlefield, a mounted warrior needed not only weapons but also reliable protective gear. One such piece of military equipment is the 15th-century leg armor for a cavalryman displayed in the exhibition of the Islamic Civilization Center. This leg armor was made of bronze in 15th-century Anatolia and measures 35.8 × 23 centimeters.
