The library of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has been enriched with another valuable work. Dr. Ruboba Shirinova, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Manuscripts of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, presented her book entitled “The Translation Monument of Yusuf Davlatoğlu’s ‘Manzum Fiqh’” to the Center.

According to Ayhan Tuglu, Director of the National Library under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s announcement at the United Nations about the opening of this Center was, in fact, a very important statement from the perspective of the revival of Islamic civilization on a global scale.

The exhibition of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has been further enriched with another valuable artifact. The prestigious DAVID AARON Gallery of Great Britain generously presented the Center with unique ornaments. Among them are a gold necklace inlaid with precious stones dating back to the first millennium BCE, a necklace made of turquoise and onyx with black borders from the Hellenistic period, and another gold necklace adorned with agate stones.

This is my first time visiting both Tashkent and the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. I was deeply impressed by the building. It is beautifully constructed and well completed. But it is not only about the building itself it is also about the opportunities it provides for studying Uzbek culture, civilization, and history. That is truly remarkable.
